Battle24 — Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 25 October 2026 · Version: 2.1.0

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Battle24 event-management platform ("Battle24", the "Service"), operated by MB Technologijų jėgainė ("we", "us"). By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using the Service, you ("you", the "Organizer") agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Proper use and your responsibility

You agree to use the Service properly, lawfully, and only for its intended purpose of organizing and running competitions and events. You are responsible for having the knowledge and competence required to operate the Service, including understanding how event setup, participant import, categories, tiers, scoring, brackets, check-in, and publishing work before relying on them for a live event. We provide documentation and tooling, but you remain responsible for the configuration, accuracy, and outcomes of the events you run.

2. Your account — one account, one person

Your account is personal to you. You must not share your account, login credentials, or access with any other person, and an account must not be used by multiple people. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you need additional people to help run an event, use the roles and per-event staff features the Service provides rather than sharing one login. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. No resale or sublicensing

The Service is licensed to you for your own event-organizing use. You must not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, redistribute, or otherwise make the Service (or access to it) available to any third party, whether for a fee or free of charge, nor operate the Service as a bureau or on behalf of others as if it were your own product. The Service, its software, and its branding remain our property.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or its underlying systems;
  • probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures;
  • upload unlawful content or content you do not have the right to use;
  • reverse-engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law;
  • use the Service to violate the rights of others or any applicable law or regulation.

5. Participant data and Organizer Agreement

When you organize an event on Battle24, you and MB Technologijų jėgainė act as joint controllers (GDPR Art. 26) of the event's participant and guardian registration data, and you act as the independent controller and merchant of record for participant entry fees paid to you. Your obligations — including permissible use of participant data, child-protection safeguards, 24-hour breach notification, and deleting exported participant lists within 30 days after the event — are governed by the Battle24 Organizer Data-Sharing and Joint Controller Agreement, which forms part of these Terms for all organizers. When you import or enter participant information manually, you confirm you have a valid lawful basis and any required parental consent to provide that data. Our handling of personal data and the essence of the joint controller arrangement are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Plans, tiers, and limits

Some features and capacities (for example, the number of participants per event) depend on the tier or plan selected for an event. You agree to operate within the limits of your chosen tier. Fees, where applicable, are presented at the point of purchase.

7. Availability and disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep it reliable, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for maintaining your own contingency arrangements for time-critical events. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, except in cases of intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or where liability cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania (Civil Code Art. 6.252).

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms — including sharing your account, reselling the Service, or misusing it. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version above and may require you to re-accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and the courts of the Republic of Lithuania (Vilnius) have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have. If you use the Service as a consumer, you may also submit consumer disputes out of court to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba — VVTAT, A. Goštauto g. 12, LT-01108 Vilnius, https://vvtat.lrv.lt, email: tarnyba@vvtat.lt).
